Dr. Emily Carter, DDS

A gentle approach, backed by serious credentials

Dr. Carter founded BrightSmile Family Dental in 2010 after training at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors. She completed an additional residency in general practice at Springfield Regional Medical Center before opening her own practice.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Carter has treated thousands of patients across every stage of life — from a child's first checkup to complex restorative work for longtime patients. She's known for taking time to explain treatment options clearly and never rushing a nervous patient.
